Our Toronto team is looking for highly motivated and seasoned Senior Business Developement Representatives to join our rapidly-expanding Sales team. As a Senior BDR at Hostaway, besides your day to day sales tasks, you will play a critical role in building out our Sales team and setting up a foundation that will take our Sales team to its greatest potential. 

You will be working together with your Senior BDR colleagues in our Barcelona and Melbourne offices, along with the Sales Team Lead. Throughout the entire sales lifecycle, you are the local point of contact for our local SDRs, BDRs, OBRs as well as other teams. You have the experience to lead a local sales team, motivate them, make decisions, provide trainings, follow and execute plans set out by your Team Lead.

As the Senior BDR you are used to selling a SaaS-based software product in a complex digital STR market.

What the role is all about:

  • Qualifying inbound prospects' needs, closing deals and estimating ROI based on improvement requests by the prospects/clients

  • Generate, retain, and engage a high volume of new outbound leads

  • Develop subject matter expertise in the industry to best support and coach our sales team, customers and prospects during their first weeks of onboarding

  • Building key relationships and collaborating with Account Managers and Customer Support Specialists on their respective territory accounts to create smooth handoffs of clients while continuously generating new pipelines through account research, strategy, and outreach

  • Collect relevant feedback from prospects, prioritize these opportunities, build detailed product improvement plans with the local sales team and mobilize the appropriate internal resources ROI based to help accelerate our sales cycles

  • Manage and appropriately forecast your local team sales pipeline using Hubspot, Google Docs and various other tools

  • Creative out of the box, thinking about new processes, product improvements needed, build projects for them to optimize our sales cycle based on ROI estimates

  • You know which data is important in order to take your work to its fullest potential and you have the firm skills to convert, maintain and deliver KPI reports

Canditate profile/experience:

  • 3-5+ years of professional experience within Sales, Product, and/or CS teams
  • Experience managing a team of 20+ team members
  • You've built teams and processes either from scratch or torn down existing ones to create something new
  • Strong experience in lead generation and SaaS sales
  • You crunch numbers in your sleep. KPI reports, excel, and GA are your cornerstones and data drives your entire workflow
  • Experience with B2B partnership negotiations
  • Exceptional communication skills (written, oral, verbal 
  • Experience as host, property owner hosting on Airbnb,, Expedia, HomeAway and many other OTAs or working experience as host sales agent for a OTA is required.
  • Experience in selling SaaS software based subscriptions preferred
