What the role is all about:


We are looking for highly-energetic individuals with natural sales instincts and a passion for technology to join our growing Hostaway Sales team.  As an SDR @ Hostaway, you are responsible for the top of the funnel: converting Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) to SQLs, prospect into different territories, and scheduling meetings with the AEs. You are driven to take part in a wide variety of responsibilities that will help foster, qualify, and grow the pipeline with high-quality customers. You'll be wildly successful with a hunting/acquisition mindset while ensuring clients are successfully onboarded with the help of our Onboarding and Customer Success teams.

Are you a creative problem solver who isn't afraid to think outside the box and get their hands dirty?  We expect you to take ownership and teach your prospects how to successfully use our platform and translate the capabilities into value for their business. We're looking for candidates who can qualify and close.  You should value and practice transparency, have the humility to accept mistakes along the way, and continuously strive to improve both personally and professionally.


As an SDR you will:

  • Be the first point of contact for leads with inbound and outbound touches
  • Qualify prospects and create meetings between the prospects and our account executives.
  • Produce market research reports for marketing, product and management department
  • Work closely on a daily basis with multiple teams in order to accelerate our growth

Requirements:

  • A positive work hard, have fun attitude
  • Comfortable to cold call prospects
  • Competitively driven with a strong and collaborative teamwork mentality
  • Willingness and desire to learn, be coached and improve continuously
  • Driven to work with various global teams to improve our marketing campaigns and product improvements.
Qualification
  • Experience in selling SaaS software based subscriptions is preferred
  • Prior experience in lead generation and SaaS sales is preferred
  • Exceptional communication skills (reading, writing, verbal)
  • Strong ability to quickly learn and adapt to change
  • Demonstrated success overachieving (professionally/ personally)
  • You have a keen interest in the STR tech industry
  • A positive work hard, have fun attitude
