Our Toronto team is looking for a Financial Administrative Coordinator to join our People & Culture team to help us execute some of the most important administrative day-to-day work between our global teams. This person will be the backbone of the entire team to hold things in place on a financial, administrative, and operations level.


Requirements

What this role is all about: 

  • Managing general administrative duties, including processing expense reports and facilitating team admin requests 

  • Coordinating communications between our accounting company in all three countries that we operate in (Finland, Spain, and Canada) 

  • Handling administrative requests and queries from Executive Management team 

  • Review and verify accuracy of financial and contract paperwork and processes 

  • Overlook salary processes for all of our team members 

  • Act as lead point-person for all team members regarding legal, financial, and administrative questions  

  • Assisting the People & Culture team with recruitment, cultural coordination, event planning

Who you are: 

  • Professional-level speaker in English (working level Finnish is a huge asset!) 

  • Comfortable/experienced with MS tools, financial data, and reporting 

  • Highly independent and risk-tolerant 

  • Meticulous nature with an eye for detail 

  • Excited to work in a robust start-up environment 

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and building processes from scratch

  • Flexibility to work outside of standard office hours, especially for critical matters 

  • Experience at a tech start-up is a big plus
