What the role is all about:


We are looking for highly-energetic individuals with a strong technical aptitude and natural sales instincts to join our growing Hostaway Sales team in Toronto.  As an Account Executive @ Hostaway, you are responsible for the full sales cycle from qualification to demo to close. You are driven to take part in a wide variety of responsibilities that will help foster, qualify, and grow the pipeline with high-quality customers. You'll be wildly successful with a hunting/acquisition mindset while ensuring clients are successfully onboarded with the help of our Onboarding and Customer Success teams.

Are you a creative problem solver who isn't afraid to think outside the box and get their hands dirty? We expect you to take ownership and teach your prospects how to successfully use our platform and translate the capabilities into value for their business. We're looking for candidates who can qualify and close.  You should value and practice transparency, have the humility to accept mistakes along the way, and continuously strive to improve both personally and professionally.


As an Account Executive you will:

  • Qualify prospects on Discovery calls by understanding their business, prioritizing their business drivers, and translating the value we provide. 

  • Convert inbound leads and hunt unqualified prospects

  • Manage your sales funnel from beginning to end, you're a professional.

  • Develop subject matter expertise in the industry to best support and coach our customers and prospects.

  • Build key relationships and collaborate with onboarding and customer success to guarantee an amazing customer experience 

  • Collect relevant feedback from prospects, prioritize these opportunities, share them with our product development team.

  • Manage and appropriately forecast your sales pipeline using Hubspot, Google Docs and various other tools.

Requirements:

  • >2 years of professional selling experience in a Business/Sales environment

  • Experience in selling SaaS software based subscriptions preferred (MRR/ARR)
  • Prior experience in lead generation and SaaS sales

  • Exceptional communication skills (reading, writing, verbal)

  • Strong ability to quickly learn and adapt to change

  • Demonstrated success overachieving (professionally/ personally)

  • You have a keen interest in the STR tech industry

  • Willing to work daily from our office with the option to work from home one day/week

  • A positive work hard, have fun attitude
